Hi Carole, I have not had the butter knife rest appraised, but I found hundreds of them for sale on eBay for about $20 each I would guess was the average. Mine has no markings, so I doubt it has significant monetary value. There must have been a bunch of these things made because I see a whole bunch of different patterns.
